Mirabelle Tavern Celebrates Opening with Lenz Wine Dinner

Chef Guy Reuge of Mirabelle Tavern (Three Village Inn, 150 Main Street, Stony Brook, NY 11790 [631] 751-0555 www.threevillageinn.com) and Wine Maker Eric Fry of Lenz Vineyards (P.O. Box 28, Peconic, NY 11958 [631] 734-6010 www.lenzwine.com) toasts the restaurant's opening with a special wine dinner on Wednesday, April 1 from 5 to 9 p.m.

Mirabelle Tavern

The five-course dinner, paired with Lenz wines, costs $85 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are required. The menu is as follows:

Mini farmers bread stuffed with escargots and mushrooms
2002 Lenz Cuvee, Methode Champenoise Sparkling

Thin-sliced salmon fillet with cucumber "spaghetti" and tomato
2005 White Label Chardonnay

Cream of roasted free-range chicken and almond soup with honey
2006 Gold Label Chardonnay

Roasted rack of lamb with potato tart and sweet garlic sauce
2001 Estate Selection Merlot

Tulipe pastry with mocha ice cream, hot chocolate sauce
1999 Late Harvest Gewurztraminer
