HOT SPOT of the MONTH
A sense of style at The Garden City Hotel"s Rein Bar & Bistro is di rigueur. Belgian Master Chef Steven De Bruyn creates five menus, from breakfast to late night. Dishes are imaginative, accessible and commensurate with the affable atmosphere that has made Rein the home of Long Island"s power meal for high flyers from the worlds of business, sport and entertainment. Gold standards, without shelling out a fortune, include a lobster salad sandwich on challah bread with roasted tomato, avocado and sweet potato fries ($20) and pan-seared red snapper with pearl couscous with roasted garlic parsley puree and sauteed zucchini with tomatoes and taggiasca olives ($23)
