Limani, which means "port" in Greek, is a Mediterranean seafood restaurant offering a Greek inspired concept, selling and serving fish by the pound, a concept found throughout Greece. Coming from 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry, operating partner Reno Christou most recently was part of the opening team at Estiatorio Milos in Manhattan. Building on this experience, he decided to create a similar concept on Long Island. The core of the menu is the whole fresh fish offered by the pound chosen by the guest from the display, allowing the guest an active role in learning about the product and selecting their fish.
