We hear  . . . That Louis XVI is thisclose to being sold to the folks that run a large Italian food operation on Long Island that everyone knows . . . That John Tunney (Besito, HONU Kitchen + Cocktail, American Roadside Burger) is thisclose to opening a third Besito in West Hartford, CT . . . that the Bohlsen Group (Tellers, H20 and Prime) will open an Italian concept later this summer . . . That Circa in Mineola was originally slated to be an upscale Italian eatery but as co-owner, Gerry Sbarro, watched the Dow drop he changed the concept to much more affordable fare (good call!) . . . That Mezzaluna from the Upper East Side is going into the old Gordon’s in Amagansett . . . That negotiations continue (as they have for over two years) for Nobu to open up a spot out East (hint: Prime 103 is, er, a prime target) . . . That Speranza Fine Italian Food Studio in Woodbury WILL eventually open!
