Nick & Toni’s on Saturday Night

Ended-up being taken to Nick & Toni’s in East Hampton on Saturday night by my artist pal Alex Echo (http://www.alexechoarts.com) who was visiting from London. Joining us was another pal, John Kowalenko (http://hamptonsartofeating.com/); our fourth was singer/songwriter, Nick Woodbridge (http://www.myspace.com/nickwoodbridge) who is playing at The Living Room on 12/30 (www.livingroomny.com).  

 

Besides having a riot (and getting my chops busted for twittering (www.twitter.com/stevehaweeli) during the meal - hey, I did it for THEM) we had some great food: chorizo risotto, swordfish with Brussel sprouts, pan-roasted, duck cannelloni - and a visit from our favorite waiter (Owen Stanley).  

 

Big news is that Kowalenko’s catering company landed a gig at The Masters this year in Augusta, Georgia. Way to go John! And Echo, whoa, he is a force. Just did an installation in China and Dubai.
