Hop Around Long Island for Great Deals This Easter

Easter falls on April 4th this year. Many restaurants are having specials on and around this date. Take a look for what they have to offer and you will be hopping up and down like the Easter Bunny with excitement!

Bunny in a Basket

Nassau County

Where: The Garden City Hotel
When: Easter Sunday, April 4 with seatings at noon and 3 p.m.
What: A brunch buffet by Chef Steven De Bruyn will be served in the legendary Grand Ballroom. Guests may enjoy a myriad of savory food stations: meat carving, pasta, made-to-order omelets and waffles. There is also lobster, shrimp, crab, salmon, sliced meats, salads, fresh fruits, cheeses, assorted breads, muffins, pastries and Easter desserts plus unlimited Bloody Mary and Mimosa cocktails, coffee and tea. Children may enjoy Easter egg coloring, a visit from the Easter Bunny and a live Easter bunny exhibit where they can see and pet Easter bunnies. Families are encouraged to bring their cameras for photo opportunities. Reservations are strongly recommended.
Cost: It is $69 plus tax and gratuity per adult; and half-price, $34.50, for children under 12-years-old.

Where: Library Cafe
When: Sunday, April 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
What: Rather than patrons waiting on line to fill up their plates, waiters come around to serve each table. Menu items may include fresh fruit, homemade breads and muffins, Texas style French toast, scrambled eggs, egg whites, eggs Benedict, cold cereals, sliced meats, buttermilk pancakes, home fries and all the fixings. One complimentary Bloody Mary or Mimosa is also included and there is unlimited soda, coffee and juice. The regular menu is also available. Reservations are required.
Cost: Cost of the brunch is $17.95 for adults and $10.95 for kids.

Where: Limani
When: Greek Easter on Saturday, April 3rd beginning at midnight.
What: The celebration will honor the traditional holiday where Greeks break fast and indulge with a Greek Easter feast after Anastasi on Saturday, April 3rd at midnight. Limani will be roasting lambs throughout the day on Saturday, which will then be served for Greek Easter. The celebration begins immediately following midnight mass. The celebration will include a live Greek band, headed by one of the top bouzouki players Christos Lambropoulos, and a traditional Greek Easter meal.

What: Rein debuts breakfast with the Easter Bunny. Families may step into spring with a fun-filled morning that starts with a warm welcome from the Easter Bunny. Children can meet the Easter Bunny and have a photograph taken together. Families are encouraged to bring their cameras. Children may have their faces painted and will each receive holiday treats from the Easter Bunny. Space is limited and reservations are strongly encouraged.
Cost: The holiday buffet breakfast menu is $27.95 plus tax and gratuity for adults and half-price, or $13.95, for children under 12-years-old.

When: Easter brunch on Sunday, April 4 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Easter dinner from 3 to 8 p.m.
What: Brunch will include a complementary cocktail or juice, scones and sweet rolls, entree choice, and coffee or tea.
For dinner, the regular menu will be available in addition to traditional Easter specials including: braised wild mushroom salad with organic mache, roasted walnut goat cheese, mascarpone croustade, and truffle soy vinaigrette; seafood paella with jumbo shrimp, scallops, mussels, manilla clams, and chorizo saffron risotto; and New Zealand lamb chops with Peruvian potatoes, wilted arugula, marinated artichokes, olive tapanade, and basil mint pesto.
