Food NewsApril 24, 2012 Navy Beach Reopens for 2012 SeasonNavy Beach, dubbed a "perfect destination for summer dining" by The New York Times, will reopen for the 2012 season on Friday, April 27th at 5pm.
A cocktail list created by St. Germain mixologist Philip Pepperdine will feature signature libations including the Rob Collins (vodka or gin, St.G, soda, lemon); La Tigresa (vodka, lime, watermelon, basil); and the Captain Jack (rye whiskey, St.G, lime, ginger beer). Longtime favorites including the Marganegra, the Southside, and the much-loved Saintgria Rosa (St.G, rosé, fresh peach, strawberries) will return together with a wide selection of domestic and imported beers and an approachable wine list with great values and some new selections for the season. Marathon lunches with bottles of rose and pitchers of Saintgria Rosa will return to the restaurant, situated on a 200-foot private beach. Boaters will be welcomed back to safely anchor in the protected waters of Fort Pond Bay where the Navy once anchored and serviced their fleet, and where two Navy piers still stand. Those who remember the popular World Cup 2010 viewing parties at Navy Beach should stay tuned for Summer Olympics specials with English drink promos-think Shandies and Pimm's Cups. The Navy Beach Sun Lounge will be back with cozy sectionals for lounging, cocktail tables adorned with market umbrellas and chic daybeds perfect for daytime cocktails and sunbathing. The schedule for the season is as follows: Navy Beach |
