Montauk Yacht Club Presents The Black Truffle Experience
Calling all foodies: The Gulf Coast Kitchen by Gabriele Corcos at The Montauk Yacht Club Resort & Marina announces tableside black truffle service available at weekend dinner seatings, for the summer season.
Chef Ryan Solien crafts the pastas with simple and elegant preparations, then serves them tableside with generous shavings of black truffles flown in from the Umbria region of Italy.
Each evening is different, depending on local seafood sources, with recent features including 8oz butter-poached Maine lobster tail served with chanterelle and black truffle lasagna. The lasagna is hand-made by Chef Solien folding shaved, black truffle into the pasta itself. Chef Solien then prepares the dish tableside, for the ultimate extravagance, shaving black truffles over the dish. The Black Truffle Experience is $70 per person.
"This is, hands down, one of the best meals you'll have this summer," states Lloyd Van Horn, general manager. "It's deliciously indulgent and fits seamlessly with our signature blend of Tuscan food and traditional farmers' cuisine. It's simply unforgettable."
