Left Coast Kitchen and Cocktails Celebrates One Year With Fortnight Prix Fixes
Left Coast Kitchen and Cocktails, Merrick's "unpretentious and full-flavored" pub, celebrates its first anniversary from Friday, February 24 through Friday, March 9 by offering $29 three-course "Anniversary Fortnight" prix fixe menus.
The special menus, which are subject to change, will not be offered after 7 p.m. on Saturdays or on Wednesday, February 29. The regular menu will also be available. Chef Chris Randell's "Anniversary Fortnight" menus will feature the "Greatest Hits" from LCK's inaugural year. Selections will change throughout the celebration but may include:
*French onion chowder - 1/2 Chowder, 1/2 Onion Soup, all of the Best of Both
*Deconstructed fried oyster "chowder"
*Chopped bliss salad
*Buffalo chicken and shrimp sate - Buttermilk Dressing and Crumbled Blue Cheese
*Deep fried beef taco
*Slurpy noodles - dashi broth, poached egg, prawns, pork belly and siracha
*Chicken, shrimp n grits
*Fondue + nachos +
*Lobster roll - Old Bay mayo, Brioche bun, chips and slaw
*LCK burger - Angus beefy, oniony, cheesy, bacony and such with Chris' burger slaw and shoe string fries
* Hunk of burning pork love - twice cooked pork shoulder, Chef Nearys' BBQ sauce, baked beans & fried potato strings
*The Roadhouse - open faced with grilled pub steak, garlic toast mushrooms, mozzarella, demi-glace and chips
*Chocolate banana cream pie
*Tropical fruit crisp
