The contemporary restaurant boasts sunset views of Three Mile Harbor from both the main dining room and lounge area. The bar is set further back and houses a gas fireplace with concrete surround and a large concrete bar. High gloss white ceilings and navy blue walls compliment Ipe wood floors, which run throughout the modern interior. Executive Chef Sami Krasniqi has created a Mediterranean menu featuring delicacies from both land and sea. Appetizers range in price from $12 to $20 and feature: crudo trio with Norwegian salmon, Canyons-caught tuna and local fluke with tomato liquor, chili and basil oils and fleur de sale; herbed carpaccio of thin sliced prime tenderloin beef over farm fresh baby arugula and endive with shaved 18-month aged Parmesan, Saba wine drizzle and truffle oil; and Mama’s mussels steamed with ouzo, white wine, oven-dried tomatoes, shallots and fennel. Ice chilled raw and almost raw shellfish are available from $9 to $20 and include: Napeague little neck clams; Montauk "Pearls" oysters; and Alaskan king crab. Soups and salads are $8 to $14 and feature: baby red and yellow beets with tomato, cucumber and kos in a Saba vinaigrette; "Andrra" seafood chowder with prawns, clams, fish, fire-roasted tomato broth, basil oil, herbs and a touch of cream; and "Andrra" salad with vine-ripened tomato, Bermuda onion, cucumber, farm fresh greens and Cyprian feta with an oregano and thyme vinaigrette. Entrees are $25 to $43 and include: "Andrra" lobster with choice of mouth-watering lobster butter or beurre blanc with Northeast Bay fries; roasted rack of American lamb with edamame roasted garlic puree, mint pesto, lemon and orange cremolata. Desserts are $11 and feature: baklava stuffed with walnuts, pistachio and almonds served with rose-petal honey syrup; flour-less chocolate cake with mint cream anglaise and raspberries; and summer pudding with seasonal fruits with a Saba and port wine drizzle and sweet pomegranate syrup. The restaurant is open for dinner daily from 5 to 11 p.m. Lunch is served during the summer season from Memorial Day to Labor Day from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. A lounge with nightlife entertainment is also open from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. Andrra |
