Food NewsSeptember 13, 2012 Hamptons Cupcake Lounge Introduces New Fall FlavorsHamptons Cupcake Lounge, a new business committed to delicious, nutritious and unique cupcakes, introduces new flavors of cupcakes and cuptails for the fall season.
Always mindful of flavor and health, pre-made cake mixes, preservatives, stabilizers and cake enhancers are never included in recipes. Instead of butter and oil, unsweetened applesauce and fruit purees are used to keep cupcakes moist. Truvia, an all natural, zero-calorie sweetener that is approved for diabetics, takes the place of sugar. There is a limit of a whole egg per batch and egg whites are incorporated. Each cupcake features a cream cheese frosting made with low-fat dairy. Whole grains are added by combining organic 100-percent whole-wheat flour with unbleached organic flour. The Collection is priced at $3.50 each or $39 per dozen. Miniature versions of each cupcake is also available with Collection Kisses for $15 per dozen. Cuptails combines a cupcake and cocktail in one for $4 each or $44 per dozen. Cuptails Kisses, the miniature version, are available for $18 per dozen. Hamptons Cupcake Lounge |
