The Backyard Restaurant at Sole East Hosts Bedell Cellars Winemaker's Dinner

The Backyard Restaurant at Sole East presents a five-course meal paired with wines from Bedell Cellars on Wednesday, August 22 from 6:30 p.m.

The collaboration of Executive Chef Larry Kolar and Winemaker Rich Olsen-Harbich, costing $85 per person or $70 for Bedell Cellars wine club members, is as follows:

*Reception with passed hors d'oeuvres
Paired with 2011 Taste Rose

*Striped bass ceviche with sour orange, basil and roasted tomato
Paired with 2010 Taste White

*Lobster with mashed potatoes and creamed corn
Paired with 2010 Gallery

*"Pastrami" with cured duck breast, rapini and lavender
Paired with 2010 Cabernet Franc

*Short ribs with Yukon gold potatoes, smoked pork belly and pea tendrils
Paired with 2010 Taste Red
