Osteria Salina Hosts Leah Laurenti Singing Contemporary Jazz On Thursdays

Osteria Salina hosts live music every Thursday presenting Leah Laurenti, American Idol contestant and contemporary jazz singer from 8 p.m. to midnight.

Leah Laurenti will perform originals including Dont Be Afraid, Empty Lines, I Found You, and November. More information may be found at www.leahlaurenti.net.

Beginning at 9 p.m., the Stuzzicchini or late night menu is available. It includes Sicilian classics like Polpette, Salina meatballs, pomodoro sauce and pecorino Sicilian as well as Fritto Misto, shrimp and squid with zucchini capers, lemons and arrabiata sauce. Charcuterie di Formaggio & Salumi is also offered with an assortment of imported cheeses, cured meats, imported olives and orange blossom honey and fig marmelata. Tortino di Granchio, jumbo lump crab cake with saffron citrus aioli and Timballo di Tonno, yellowfin tuna with peperoncino oil, cucumber and avocado are welcomed by seafood lovers. Other menu items include Arancini, saffron rice and mozzarella with pecorino and veal sugo-peas; Melanzane Parmigiana, Sicilian eggplant with Parmigiana and pomodoro sauce; and Mozzarella & Pomodoro with vine ripened tomatoes, red onion and Sicilian olive oil.
